Reggae music when it hits you feel no pain!
- Reggae Around The World
I remember once on a trip to Marrakesh in Morocco I met a lovely family who invited me to their house for tea.
To my surprise there hanging in the sitting room was a picture of Bob Marley!
They where some of his biggest fans and sang “One Love” in broken English, it was one of the highlights of my trip.
I found this to be a powerful indication on the power of; Bob Marley, Reggae and Jamaica,it was a proud moment for me.
It proves what we can achieve though music and the positive impact it can have.
Many who visit Jamaica also love Bob Marley his music and what he stood for as a beacon for peace.
On the social calendar we have annual events such as; Sting, Reggae Sumfest and Rebel Salute, some of the firm favorites which have patrons returning year after year.
At these events you can see some of Jamaica’s top artist preforming live, as well as International guest on stage too.
- Reggae Month
The month of February, as well as being Dennis Emmanuel Brown (Crown Prince Of Reggae) and Bob Marley’s Birthday’s, it is also International Reggae Month.
This is celebrated all over the world with concerts and events.
